Social Enterprise Immersion Program (SEIP)

A simple way to connect to inspiring and diverse social entrepreneurs in China

With the growing demand to learn about and experience social entrepreneurship, SEIP has been set up to arm individuals with a uniquely relevant experience and invaluable first-hand insights into Sustainable Development and Social Entrepreneurship in China.

SEIP offers companies, universities and schools a simple way to connect to inspiring and diverse social entrepreneurs in China.

The program can be compiled of different sessions pending the interest and time availability of participants. Available components include:
1. General orientation sessions to learn more about sustainable development and social entrepreneurship in China
2. Panel discussions and case study presentation by social entrepreneurs from various fields
3. Field visits to selected social enterprises to gain first-hand exposure
4. Workshops on various social and environmental issues or leadership training by social enterprises.

Who?

All of the Social Enterprises participating in the program demonstrate innovation and good practice in their field. They are making a difference in diverse fields such as

» Improving the employability of mentally challenged Youth
» Organic farming
» Providing economic opportunities for rural artisans or disadvantaged women
» Microfinance
» Building a movement of national volunteering
» And much more…

All the visit hosts have senior staff committed to ensuring you will gain maximum benefit from your visit through:
» the delivery of practical and unbiased information
» understanding how and why they are successful
» the identification of transferable ideas
» the chance for frank discussion about the challenges they face
» the chance to build long-term networking links

Where?

FYSE can currently arrange for visits in Beijing.

How much?

There is a fee for each visit, which has been set at the lowest possible level and the majority of which will be paid to the social enterprises participating to cover staff time and catering costs.
