Women Entrepreneurship matters. Not only because social entrepreneurship is challenging the glass ceiling for women and provides an opportunity for gender equality. In fact, it is an economic issue that affects everyone, as entrepreneurship is key to economic development through job and value creation, and social entrepreneurship provides sustainable solutions to societies most pressing social and environmental challenges.

However, women still represent a minority of all entrepreneurs and many challenges still prevent them from realizing their full potential and growing their ventures.

In response, Spark:Her has developed innovative solutions that fosters the promotion of women social entrepreneurs and  drives concrete positive changes on the performance, scale and impact of their social enterprises.

We recognize that women social entrepreneurs are different. Our comprehensive development model responds to the unique needs of women who are not satisfied with leading small enterprises, but who have the ambition and desire to lead high-impact social ventures that have the potential for scale.
