We welcome interns and volunteers from around the world to get involved with our business services and help us support social entrepreneurs in Asia. Spark:Her empowers women not just to lead a social venture, but to change the world.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to gain development experience at a young and dynamic organization with an ambitious mission. We are looking for entrepreneurial self-starters who are passionate about social entrepreneurship and women entrepreneurs.

Following roles are available:

PR and Multimedia Officer

We are looking for someone who is passionate to spread the word about the amazing work done by female social entrepreneurs, who is able to engage our audience and to turn messages into conversations.

Role
» Revitalize our newsletter, social media, marketing materials etc.
» Lead our online presence to create a buzz and excitement about our launch and programs
» Strategically architect new ways to inspire more women to become social entrepreneurs
» Innovate new ways to show the impact, scale and diversity  of women social entrepreneurs

Skills/ Background required
» Experience in marketing/communications/ public relations
» Experience in social media (twitter, facebook, weibo, videocast etc)
» Experience in cause related marketing, as well as hmtl/ webdesign skills is considered a plus
» Very creative

Community Ambassador

As Community ambassador you are charged with the special mission of building and tightening our community of supporters and social entrepreneurs. As a natural network you are excited to meet and engage new people from diverse cultures and from different backgrounds ranging from our volunteers, to the CEOs of our partners and sponsors to outstanding women social entrepreneurs.

Role
» Strategically recruit and develop our network of outstanding women social entrepreneurs
» Deliver an exceptional experience for all our partners and facilitate strong relationships between them and between partners and Spark:Her
» Recruit and cultivate individuals to participate at new levels
»    Develop, motivate and support our growing global volunteer chapters around the world

Skills/ Background required
» Excellent interpersonal skills, strongly passionate about identifying and meeting the needs of people, developing and maintaining relationships is your natural tendency
» Natural Networker with excellent communication skills with people of diverse backgrounds. Walking in a room with 50 strangers excites you.
» You are not afraid to ask people for money, skills or time and you are not afraid to receive a no
» Experience in marketing/communications/ public relations; event management, partnership management

Storyteller

You are passionate about discovering and sharing stories about outstanding women social entrepreneurs from around the world and writing a great interview is the easiest thing for you? You love to recruit and manage a network a network of contributors who join you as Storyteller? Join us today for this once-in-a-lifetime experience in creative journalism!

Role
» Leads efforts to promote women social entrepreneurs by creating an endless stream of interesting new angles for blog posts, podcasts etc.
» Work closely with the PR and Multimedia Officers to strategically architect new ways to inspire more women to become social entrepreneurs and to share your content with an ever-growing audience
» Recruit and Manager a network of contributors and partners for content development and  distribution

Skills/ Background required
» Experience in media, journalism
» Passionate to produce high quality and engaging articles; passionate about promoting ideas, people and social ventures through storytelling
» Excellent English and/or Chinese language skills

Design

We are looking for a creative and skilled design genius who will help building our brand through stunning visuals and by designing great brochures, websites etc.

Skills/ Background required
Advance webdesign + design programs (Graphic & web design (Photoshop, InDesign/Quark, HTML/CSS). Please add samples of your previous work to your application.

Partnership coordinator

As Partnership Coordinator you are charged with the special mission of building lasting and impactful partnerships with to companies, media, nonprofits and foundations to support our network of outstanding women social entrepreneurs. As a natural sales person and networker you are excited to engage diverse stakeholders and deliver and extraordinary engagement experience for them.

Role
» Develop key corporate, media and non- corporate partnerships
» Develop and execute strategies to advance Spark:Her’s mission an impact
» Develop internal policies and procedures to ensure partnership strategies are consistent, effective, and fully integrated across business units
» Work with team to set and meet both quantitative and qualitative goals and objectives
» Conduct research on innovative best practice partnership strategies and integrate into them into Spark:Her’s partnership plan
» Manage team of interns and volunteers and work with Coordinators across all business units

Skills/ Background required
» Successful experience in CSR, partnership management or external relations
» Excellent inter-personal skills and management approach
» Team Management experience
» Excellent communication skills with people of diverse backgrounds
» Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
» Excellent writing, communication and organization skills

General Skills and Experience

» Passionate about social entrepreneurship, women development, international issues, philanthropy and passion
» Excellent inter-personal skills and management approach
» Dependable, flexible, and ability to work independently
» Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferable in Chinese

Benefits & Opportunities

This is an unpaid internship but is an exceptional opportunity to gain development experience at a young and dynamic organization with an ambitious mission. You will be able to apply and deepen your understanding about social entrepreneurship and women issues and network with outstanding social entrepreneurs.

Work will be based in our offices in central Beijing and you are expected to contribute at least 20hours/week, preferable full-time for a minimum period of 3 month starting asap.
