Andrea founded FYSE in 2008, and grew it into an cutting-edge organization that currently provides support to social entrepreneurs in 10 countries in Asia. Previously to FYSE Andrea worked as Head of Project Management and Outreach for Enterprise Asia, a leading regional think tank for entrepreneurship in Asia. As part of her role she established the organizations presence in Indonesia and China. Andrea has extensive start-up and management experience in various Asian countries including Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Andrea holds a Master in East Asian Studies from the University of Bristol, England and graduated from INSEAD’s International Social Entrepreneur Program
Kevin is an Advisor to the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network. Prior to that, he was a Co-Founder of Volans, a Social Innovation company with offices in London and Singapore. Kevin was previously Head of East and Southeast Asia at the Schwab Foundation of Social Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum (2006-2008). Prior to that, Kevin had a nine year stint in the enterprise software arena; he held various positions at Bay Area software startups funded by Sequoia Capital and worked at companies like Sun Microsystems and Trilogy Software. Kevin is a Trustee of the Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network (SEALNet), a non-profit he co-founded with offices in California and Singapore. He is also Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the NUS Business School’s Asia Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy.
Cliff Prior is the Chief Executive of UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs, a member of the UK Government Third Sector Advisory Body, the Clore Third Sector Leadership Group and much more. Cliff previously led Rethink, the UK’s largest mental health membership charity and a £45m pa social enterprise delivering mental health services under contract to the state. Over the years Cliff’s background includes his own work as a social entrepreneur, and he has created and set up several organizations such as Strutton Housing for people living with HIV 20 years ago.
Bill is an internationally recognized expert on Corporate Social Responsibility in China with more than 22 years of business and working experience in Asia. He is currently also lecturing at Tsinghua University, as the Co-Director of the Tsinghua-Bayer Public Health and HIV/AIDS Media Studies Program and also a Research Fellow and Senior Guest Lecturer at the School of Journalism and Center for International Communications.
Since 2006, Kelly Lau is responsible for helping to drive NIKE’s brand growth through consumer experiences that use sport to address social issues. This includes developing partnerships with NGO’s to develop innovative programs that leverage sport and young volunteers to address issues such as empowerment of migrant and rural youth, women, and raising awareness of HIV/AIDS. Prior to Nike, Kelly was Director of APCO Worldwide’s CSR consulting practice in Asia. She began her career in the NGO sector in the US including United Way and the Children’s Initiative.
